Dear Vintage Lover (“Vintage Lover”, “you”, “yours”), thank you for visiting www.veintagerevive.com (“Website”) and a big thank you for your decision to REVIVE YOUR VINTAGE VEIN and to make the fashion industry more sustainable.

Below, you will find the terms related to your shopping experience at Veintage Revive GmbH (“Veintage Revive”, “we”, “us”, “our”, “ours”) in a hopefully comprehensive way.

1. Some general terms first:

Our Terms of Services (“ToS”) apply, when you look for and or purchase our vintage items on our Website. By browsing on our website and, where applicable, purchasing our unique vintage items (by clicking on “PLACE ORDER”, or similar buttons) you agree, that you have read, understood and accepted these ToS.

2. Who are we?

Maybe you already know us from the Vintage Kilo Sales Pop-Ups, if not, be sure to visit us next time (see the list of our next Vintage Kilo Sales Pop-Ups here (hyperlink to the section). We’re a Swiss start-up that focuses exclusively on vintage fashion and next to the Vintage Kilo Sales Pop-Ups we now also run an online shop. Yippieh!

3. Do you need a shopping account to purchase your unique vintage items?

Your online (and offline) shopping experience will be smoother (e.g. complete your personal details once, history order, etc.) if you create a personal account. So, feel free to create it. For everyone, who doesn’t want to, we have our guest-login.

If you joined the Veintage Revive Community by registering your account, please store your credentials, especially your password, somewhere safe, so that no unauthorized person may access your account.

Please register only one account for yourselves. We reserve the right to delete multiple account registrations.

4. When do you enter in a contractual relationship with us?

The presentation of our vintage items on the Website is not a legally binding offer, but a non-binding online catalogue, which can be amended from time to time. By clicking on the button “PLACE ORDER” (or similar buttons) you place a binding order for the vintage items contained in the shopping cart. Your Receipt Confirmation of your order follows immediately after we receive your order and does not constitute an acceptance of your order (“Receipt Confirmation”). We definitively accept your order by sending an Order Confirmation by e-mail (once the vintage items are shipped) within 5 days (“Order Confirmation”).

5. Are the vintage items in the shopping cart reserved for you?

Unfortunately, no. We know how frustrating it can be, so keep smiling and hope no one was faster. Since we sell unique vintage items, we will update your shopping cart constantly during your shopping experience. Meaning, that it can be possible, that a vintage item in your shopping cart won’t be there anymore once you proceed to the payment process. Why is this so, you might ask yourself? Because another Vintagelover was faster in purchasing it. Therefore, you need to act quickly. Please don’t get frustrated, we are uploading weekly new vintage items for you, and we’re convinced, that sooner or later every Vintagelover we’ll have the chance to be the first one.

6. How often do we add new vintage items to the Website?

Trust us, as often as possible! We are constantly on the run and looking for incredible vintage items we want to share with you. We try to add new vintage items every week, so check back regularly.

7. How do you know if the clothes will fit you?

We try our best to tag the right sizes in the vintage items detail description. Sometimes tags or labels are missing, and we estimate the specific size. But do keep in mind that sizing has changed over the years and therefore an S in the 70’s is not an S nowadays.

8. What information can you see in the details of a vintage item?

We try to give you as many information as possible. We check the labels and tags of every vintage item. Some vintage items don’t have any labels, and in these cases, we try to identify the detail information ourselves. If you want to have additional information displayed on our Website, please write us an email (see details below) and we’ll try to fulfill your wish as soon as possible.

9. How do we calculate our prices?

Since we’re known for our Vintage Kilo Sales Pop-Ups, unlike other vintage online shops, we try to give you the same experience online. Therefore, we go the extra mile and weight every vintage item and calculate our prices with the according price per kilo. The prices you see are final prices and contain the Swiss value added tax of 7.7 % (“VAT”). Any additional delivery and shipping costs that may be charged will be listed separately.

10. How can you pay your order?

We try to accept all new sorts of payment methods. Currently we accept payments by PayPal, credit card (all cards, which are covered by Stripes) and TWINT. We reserve the right to offer you only specific methods of payment for the requested order, for example, to hedge our credit risk only those corresponding to the respective creditworthiness.

11. Is it safe to use your card and personal information on our Website?

Yes! We use the Secure Sockets Layer technology (SSL). We love privacy and know that you love it too. Therefore, it’s very important to us, that you feel confident sharing all required information with us. We only share your information, if it’s necessary for our business.

12. What are the rules of the promotional discount-codes you receive from us?

Our promotional discount-codes cannot be purchased but are part of our marketing campaigns with a certain period of validity. They can only be redeemed within the specified period and only once during an order. So don’t forget to insert the discount-codes before you click the button “Pay now” (or similar buttons).

13. From which moment on, do you actual own your vintage items after you have placed your order?

The vintage items remain our property until your entire payment has been received.

14. How, when and where do we deliver your orders?

Currently, we only deliver our vintage items to customers living in Switzerland or Liechtenstein. Our current delivery partner is the Swiss Post. 

If you place your order before 6 p.m., we’ll pack your orders the same day and try to guarantee delivery within the next 2-3 working days (Monday – Friday; excluding national and cantonal holidays). Unfortunately, due to the Covid19, the postal team is under a lot of pressure and therefore, might slow down our delivery.

Your orders will be shipped to the delivery address of your choice. Please be aware that you bear the extra costs, if your order fails to be delivered to you for reasons for which you are responsible. So double check your address, name, etc.

15. Do we charge any delivery and shipping costs?

The delivery and shipping costs are displayed separately in your shopping cart. Above a certain amount (amount will be displayed on the Website) we will waive the delivery and shipping costs.

16. Are you allowed to return any ordered vintage items?

Dear Vintage-Lover, currently we do not allow you to return any ordered vintage items.

17. How do we communicate with you?

Even though we love vintage, we use modern technology to communicate. Meaning that we communicate in electronic form. But we always love it, when we receive vintage letters from you Vintage Lovers, so if you feel to write a letter, please do so.

18. Is there a disclaimer for third party links on our Website?

Yes, there is. We may refer on our Website with third party links. We (unfortunately) do not have influence on the design and content of the linked pages. We therefore hereby expressly distance ourselves from all contents of all linked third-party sites and do not adopt these contents as our own. This declaration applies to all links shown and to all contents of the pages to which links may lead you.

19. What do we warrant?

We do our best to give you the best vintage items we can find. We do quality check and steam the vintage items before we post them on our Website. As we work with vintage items, it can happen that certain vintage items have traces of use (like color stains, etc.); but that’s what vintage is all about, every single piece has its own story – the perfect imperfection. You are aware of and accept, that our vintage items have their own history and story and therefore might have traces of use. We therefore exclude, to the extent permitted by applicable law, any and all warranty for the vintage items.

20. What are we liable for?

We love all you Vintage Lovers, but we do have to protect ourselves, if something might go wrong. Therefore, to the extent permitted under applicable law, we and any of our employees, officers, directors or affiliates (each a “Veintage Revive Person“), waive all liability for any direct, indirect, consequential or special losses or damages of any kind whatsoever, arising from, or in connection with, the purchase of vintage items and / or usage of the Website, including authorized or unauthorized third party use of Accounts.

21. What contractual language do we use?

Even though we deliver only in Switzerland, we have an international customer group. Therefore, we conclude the contract in English.

22. Can you use our photos or any other information on our Website without asking us?

No, we’re sorry, you may not. All image rights and other displayed information are owned by us. Any use without express permission is not permitted. So, if you want to use on of our pictures or information, just ask nicely.

23. What laws and courts are applicable to these ToS?

The Terms shall be governed by Swiss law at the exclusion of any provisions of conflict of law rules that might lead to the application of other than Swiss law. The United Nations Convention for the International Sales of Goods („Vienna Sales Convention“) is excluded.

Our priority will always be to attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute or claim arising out of or in relation to these Terms through negotiations.

If negotiations fail (let’s hope it will never get this far, because every problem can be solved somehow), you and we irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Zurich, Switzerland, for any conflict arising from or in connection with these ToS.

24. What happens in the event of the invalidity, illegality or unenforceability of these ToS and are these ToS set in stone forever?

If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be deemed modified so that it is an enforceable provision that most closely approximates yours and ours intent. Furthermore, we reserve the right to amend the ToS at any time.
